Please note that the annual salary advertised is for a full-time role, based on 35.00 hours per week. If the position you are applying for is part time or you are only going to be working part of the year, i.e., a term time contract for 38 or 39 weeks per year, the annual salary will be paid on a pro-rata basis including a number of additional weeks for annual leave entitlement when the position is term time.
Role Purpose
The post is based within the Resources Admin Team at Paton Street, Galashiels. This team is largely responsible for the admin of all Carer Payments and TCAC payments across the Borders as well as the Kinship, Fostering and Permanence Panel. The team also maintains the Child Placement List for the Scottish Borders. The main role of this post will be providing support to one of our residential placements including assisting with the allocation of purchase cards, handling petty cash and facilitating and minuting team meetings. In addition to this supporting the Resources admin team with a variety of tasks.
Admin are responsible for a range of other tasks including:
• Telephone Answering
• Letter typing and distribution
• Minute taking and distribution
• Use of SBC applications such as Mosaic, Business World, Intranet, One Drive and Microsoft packages
• Processing Police Concern Forms
• Attendance at meetings
• Being first point of telephone/email contact to the public and Professionals
• Monitoring of Team mailboxes
• Completing Mosaic Incoming Work
Essential
