The Vacancy
Ross is recruiting for a personal development worker to join his team in Crieff. Here’s a little bit about Ross and what he’s looking for:
‘Hi, I’m Ross, I’m 31 years old and I live in my home in Crieff.
People who know me and love me say I am very kind and gentle with a great sense of humour. Also that I like to be busy, having things to do.
I’m at my happiest when I am outdoors, on walks, around animals and socialising with others in my community.
Maybe it’s my farming genes, as I like to wake up early and embrace the new day ahead where I might be swimming, horse-riding, attending local walking groups/community activity groups or making the most of having a car and heading out for the day.
I’m keen to explore what my area has to offer, make new friends and connections and engaging in community social events. Could you walk alongside me and support me to live my good life? I enjoy contributing to my local community, being involved with nature, green ventures, sporting activities and animal welfare.
Having a productive day is important to me, I like a structured routine with time to recharge my batteries. I love sharing healthy, home cooked meals and taking part in household chores to keep my home clean and safe.
As a member of my team you will have lots of energy but also be comfortable sitting peacefully with me. Qualities I look for in team members are for you to be reliable and consistent, active, enthusiastic and energetic with a calming influence when needed.
I communicate using Makaton so having some knowledge around this would be ideal but training will be provided if this is new to you. Having a driver's licence is also essential as I have my own car which my team members drive on my behalf.
Other things to know about Ross:
Ross has recently started attending water sports activities with a community group (kayaking/paddleboarding) so would ideally be looking for a team member who was confident in supporting him in water activities. Staying physically fit is very important to Ross and he has recently joined an all-ability cycling group. He enjoys time with family members and attending local community groups (walking, discos, music, outdoor activity centre).
If you think you’d enjoy walking alongside Ross, supporting his good life then apply now to be part of life changing work
