The role – Support Worker
We support people with a variety of complex disabilities in our spacious, purpose-built hub setting, which offers sensory, kitchen and craft spaces with access to idyllic grounds and amazing facilities such as a hydrotherapy pool, rebound therapy an accessible gym. It is an exciting time to join and help us shape our big plans for our brand new facilities, which are coming soon.
We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with a skill or passion to share such as baking, music or arts & crafts – if you love it, this will shine through to the people you support, giving them a taste of new experiences whilst learning new skills.
As part of our staff team you may be asked to cover occasional shifts in our Community Outreach services. Supporting our customers in their own homes and wider community, enabling independent living; assisting with personal care, medication, mealtimes and social support.
What you need to know
Hours: Up to 30 Hours per week. 9am-3.30pm – Monday to Friday. Plus occasional evening and weekend shifts in our Community Outreach services.
Location: Our work is in our daycentre & community support services, all coordinated from our hub in Uppers Springland Campus, Isla Road, Perth, PH2 7HQ.

Drivers preferred. Whilst we welcome applications from drivers, we can consider non drivers. If you do need to go out and about with our customer for that dinner and cinema trip, your costs are covered.

- A generous salary of up to £18,864.25 pa / £12.06 per hour (or £12.35 per hour, dependent on qualifications)
