Our fabulous #Teamburn is now recruiting for outgoing and compassionate *female colleagues who are adaptable to join our friendly, well established team as a Support Practitioner in Irvine.


The Role


With a focus on maintaining and promoting independence, you will work in a person-centred way to provide support in all aspects of daily living, including cooking and preparing meals, personal care, administering medication and managing personal finances.

In addition to the above, the lady we support enjoys attending local activities, meeting up with friends for a coffee as well as attending family events. To ensure we are maintaining her independence, you'll be enthusiastic and take an active interest in her hobbies.


As the lady we support has her own mobility car it is essential you hold a full UK driving licence with a minimum of 1 year experience on the road.

About You

To be a great Support Practitioner, we'll need you have;

  • Great communication skills.

  • Positive approach to learning.
  • Able to follow guidelines.
  • Confidence in the use of technology.


You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we'll give you all the training you'll need if you're successful. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too!


Shift Patterns


We provide tailored support and our team follow a rolling rota with 24 hour shift patterns. You shift will start at 10am until 11pm, sleepover and then 7am until 10am the following day. Our sleep over shifts are paid at varying rates depending on how long the shift is.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.
