Help transform lives like J’s.
Hello, I’m J and live in Victoria Project based in Govanhill.
It’s important to me to be as independent as possible. I need support to enhance my daily living skills. I like to make the most out of life and enjoy Elvis’s tribute nights, going out for meals, shopping especially for new clothes. I like to work in the garden within the project. I really enjoy art and music. Sometimes, I like to visit the car boot sale and charity shops to see if I can get a bargain.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of The Mungo Foundation, where we positively impact the lives of those we support in our various services across Glasgow and Ayrshire. Located in Govanhill, Glasgow, Victoria Project is based over 2 projects, Batson Street which is 7 bedded and Govanhill Street which is 6 bedded we support adults who have been diagnosed with enduring mental health.
The Victoria Project is looking for enthusiastic carers who can help to make a real difference to people we support. Victoria is a Mental Health Recovery project which provides 24/7 support to 13 adults. When people come to the Victoria project, they aspire to develop their daily living skills which would help them move into their own tenancy or a less supported environment.
