Help transform lives like M’s.

Hi, I’m M and I live in De Paul House. Having a full flat to myself in the project gives me my own space and I have the option to come to communal areas if I want to, so it is a good balance.

I enjoy going on activities like paintballing and go-karting. I also like meeting up with my keyworker for key sessions. I am focused on getting my own tenancy and spend time with the staff to achieve my goals and outcomes to work towards my move on journey.

I am very independent but ask for help when I need it with things like budgeting and harm reduction.

Are you ready to make a real difference to me and people like me?

Our De Paul House Project based in the Govan area of Glasgow provides accommodation and support for nine young people (16 – 25 years), who are homeless. This service supports young people to consider their lifestyles and options to make positive changes and steps towards independent living.

We are looking to recruit a Project Worker (relief) who is enthusiastic and motivated to join our busy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for co-ordinating and delivering high-quality person-centred support plans, contributing to positive outcomes for the individuals we support, whilst promoting therapeutic and recreational activities. You must be willing to undertake regular shift work and sleepovers are included and are a requirement of the post. Flexibility and short notice working may be required.

Qualifications or experience are not essential. We offer excellent support, training and a salary of £12.60 per hour.
