We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Senior Support Worker.
Applicants are required to have a full clean manual UK Drivers license and access to own vehicle.
You will be managing a team of support practitioners and involved in managing the daily aspects of services in your region.

About the Role: As a senior support worker your duties could involve managing and mentoring a team of support staff, identify training needs, leading the writing of support plans, rota management and participating in review meetings. There will also be practical support with the person`s daily life, personal care or helping to promote a positive, active and healthy lifestyle to the individual you are supporting. We have 1 position based in Glenrothes/ North East Fife & surrounding areas. For all Senior Support Worker roles we are looking for drivers with access to own vehicles due to the travel requirements of these roles. This vacancy is full time. Senior staff are expected to cover on call duties (on a rotational basis). As a Senior member of staff, we would expect you to step in and assist with covering shifts. Requirements: For this fantastic opportunity you will need:
- at least 2 years previous experience of supporting individuals within care,
- experience of leading teams in a social care environment,
- have or are working towards you SVQ level 3,
- hold a full driving licence and have access to own vehicle.

The successful applicant must also register with SSSC as a Supervisor in Care at Home and Housing Support Services on taking up the post.
