Early Years Practitioner
Salary:-£24,180.00-24,381.50 per year

Glenbervie Kindergarden are looking to recruit an Early Years Practitioner to join our team on a permanent basis. Currently we have two full time posts available, one within our Larbert setting and one within our Carron setting. The successful candidate will have relevant experience of working within an early years environment and have the skills to work alongside other experienced practitioners and professionals. The successful candidate should be forward thinking, have a sense of maturity, have a good personality, be knowledgeable in the ever changing field of Early learning and childcare and have experience of using Realising the Ambition and other relevant National and local guidance.
You should be an enthusiastic practitioner, who can communicate effectively and have a strong work ethic. We are looking for a fully qualified practitioner to work as an effective member of an early year’s team delivering a high quality child centred service which meets the needs of children and their families.
Our setting is a family run service which places importance in relationships with children and families, a place where all are valued and cared for. We are looking for enthusiastic and inspiring individuals, to support our younger children through their early years.
You will need to be dedicated and enthusiastic, have initiative, motivation and drive and have knowledge and experience of current early learning and childcare provision and procedures.
You must be committed and proactive to continuously developing your role by undertaking training, researching current and developing practice, we need someone who can be reflective in their practice.
This post requires flexibility and relevant knowledge within all age groups.

Relevant Qualifications
You must be educated to HNC level in Early Education and Childcare or hold SNNB/HNC/SVQ3 qualifications in Childcare/Education or equivalent and be able to evidence additional learning and knowledge of current practice and legislation in relation to Early Learning and Childcare.
The successful candidate will be required to be or get registered with the Scottish Social Services Council and join the PVG scheme with an enhanced disclosure.
