Little Scallywags Nursery

t Little Scallywags nursery, we support our children through an inclusive and nurturing ethos in a home from home setting. As highly qualified early years staff we understand the importance of great early education and are aware of how the earliest stage of learning build the foundations for all future learning. Our ethos of developing learning through sensory experiences and active play ensures children are on the right path to becoming confident individuals and successful learners, ready for their next stage in their development.

At little Scallywags Nursery and After School club we have a commitment to ensuring that all our children are supported to thrive so that they grow up as healthily and happily as possible. We work meaningfully with families adopting a flexible approach to meet individual needs, understanding everyone involved with the child has a contribution to make.

Our team are a dedicated and motivated group, all of whom are SSSC registered. At Little Scallywags Nursery we have an ethos of continued professional development, with member of staff participating in degree courses and progressing through Scottish Vocational Qualifications.

Staff meetings are a time to reflect on practice as a team, share knowledge gained on courses and through professional read and further develop the service we provide.
