Peek-a-boo Nursery (Edinburgh) the award winning, independent Nursery School in Barnton is looking to recruit full-time Apprentice / Assistant Early Years Practitioners to join our enthusiastic and motivated team.

As a commitment to helping people achieve their full potential, we are looking for Apprentice/ Assistant Early Years Practitioners who can be supported through qualifications while working in nursery.

This post would suit enthusiastic individuals seeking a long-term career in Nursery Care and Education that currently do not yet have the relevant qualification and or experience.

Early Years Practitioner

As an experienced practitioner with detailed knowledge of the 'Pre Birth to Three' and 'Curriculum for Excellence'

you be involved in the ongoing development of the nursery. A love of the outdoors and a pair of wellies is essential.

Successful candidates will be responsible for meeting the daily care and education needs of young children by providing stimulating age/stage experiences. Candidates will have good working curricular knowledge and will be actively involved in planning, observation and self evaluation.

All roles will require the successful candidates to register with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme. Offers will also be subject to successful enrolment, a process which we will guide you through.
