Job Description

Act as a member of Early Learning and Childcare team, with full involvement in the work of the Early Level curriculum, and where appropriate the pre-Birth to Three Framework, helping to contribute to the care and education of children.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

The working pattern is 11 hours per week to be worked over 2 or 3 days according to the needs of the setting at Drumoak Nursery.

Fixed term for a period not exceeding 04/07/2025.

Requirements

This post requires a PVG Children check to be carried out by Disclosure Scotland, and where an individual has spent a continuous period of three months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check. You will be required to obtain this check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in this post will be subject to the outcome of both these checks being satisfactory.

This post will require you to have obtained SSSC registration within 3 months of employment. 

This post has a minimum of two references, one of which must be your current or most recent employer.
