Job Description
We are looking for an individual to carry out an in depth review of Council vehicles and Plant across all Service users, assessing utilisation, current and future needs and identify savings and efficiencies, reporting back to the Fleet Manager. Collate data from digital systems and confirm with physically acquired information.
Produce written reports to communicate recommendations to representatives of Service departments on vehicle and plant requirements.
In addition, the individual will work with the Quality and Resources Team including quarries, sign shop and supporting the work of the wider Roads & Infrastructure Service.
A full and current driving licence is required for this post. The post holder will also be required have access to a vehicle in order to undertake the full range of duties of the post and may be required to drive Aberdeenshire Council vehicles.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
