Job Description

Based at Burgh Yard, Cairnie Loan, Arbroath.

This job is workstyle 5 - Flexi.

You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from home for part of your week and spend some time in council buildings to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.

You will be responsible for effectively managing the Waste Operations services and teams operating in the coastal areas of Angus, including the Waste Uplift and Disposal Crews and the Street Cleaning Crews. You will also be responsible for effectively managing the Special Waste Action Team, Waste Operations Stores and Superloos. You will directly line manage three Area Supervisors.

This job is available from 1 May 2025.

Requirements

You will be required to travel throughout Angus in the course of your duties and you will be required to provide your own vehicle. You must also ensure that your motor insurance policy covers business use.
