We are looking for a well-motivated and organised person to join us at
Sanquhar Academy, on a permanent basis. You will work 20 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, to undertake a broad range of clerical duties.
Experience in dealing with the public and the ability to work with the minimum of supervision are essential. You must have a pleasant manner, an aptitude for PC work and a good understanding of office procedures. Knowledge of Financial Record Keeping and procedures is desirable.
The post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to formal offer of employment being made by Dumfries and Galloway Council.
