Job Description

Leisure & Culture Dundee is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) SC042421. It was established by Dundee City Council in July 2011 to deliver leisure, sports, library, information and cultural services for the city. www.leisureandculturedundee.com Working 37 hours per week you will work across various sports centres throughout Dundee, supporting the existing Sports Centres’ staffing structures with relief cover for annual leave requests, absence and sickness absence cover. You will also support any local, regional or national events held within any of our individual sports centres. This role sits within the Active City section of Leisure and Sport and the main base of work will be the Dundee International Sports Centre (DISC),Douglas Sports Centre, Menzieshill Community Hub, St. Pauls, Grove & Harris Swim & Sports Centre.

Requirements

2 National Grade 4 passes or equivalent in Maths & English or Relevant Experience

Responsibilities

The Day-to-day responsibility for effectively addressing operational issues, health & safety matters and customer-focused facilities/services/activities, relating to Leisure Attendant roles/duties

The Individual

You will have sufficient experience and knowledge of cash handling skills, IT skills & experience and the ability to maintain sufficient records and show high levels of personal organisational skills. You will also have good communication skills, good interpersonal skills including customer care skills and must show the ability to work efficiently using their own initiative whilst being able to work under pressure. You must be able to work flexible shifts including evening, weekends and public holidays, as well as being prepared to respond positively to the reasonable demands of the service and work both individually and as part of a wider Leisure Attendant team.
