The Regional Performance Centre for Sport Dundee (RPC Dundee) is an extensive sports complex within Caird Park in Dundee. Opened in August 2019, the centre has top class facilities including a 400m outdoor athletics track, indoor athletics facilities, sports halls, performance suite, analysis / meeting rooms, indoor and outdoor 3G pitches accredited by both FIFA and World Rugby.
We are looking for an energetic, committed, hard working individual to join our team as a receptionist to ensure the facility operates effectively and to provide an excellent level of customer service.
This is a full-time post working on a 4 weekly pattern rota basis to provide cover from 9.30am – 9.15pm during weekdays and 8.30am – 5.30pm at the weekends as detailed in the rota attached.Requirements
3 National 4 passes (or equivalent) including Maths and English, or relevant experience in a customer facing / receptionist role.Responsibilities
Ensure the smooth running of the RPC Dundee reception by welcoming customers and offering assistance where required. Furthermore, you will assist in the provision of an efficient bookings and admission system to the Service, ensuring that the appropriate information required by management is provided.The Individual
You will have excellent communication skills to work within a team and great interpersonal skills including customer service skills and experience. You will also have the ability to manage time effectively with little supervision, be able to maintain accurate records and have experience of cash handling.
You will be able to work under pressure and be able to use your initiative and demonstrate a readiness to respond to reasonable demands of the service.
You will have the ability to work the shifts allocated through the fixed rota which includes evenings, weekends and public holidays.
You will be required to follow Health and Safety guidelines, Safe Systems of Work and complete Daily inspection checklist.
You must be willing to develop your skills and attend all relevant training.
