Job Description
Assist with the effective provision of Instrumental instruction to individuals and groups of pupils within an educational environment in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the key objectives in relation to those identified within Education Plan and the Community Plan.
Requirements
The duties of the post involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants for such posts will be required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member in respect of Regulated Work with either or both of these groups as appropriate, or if they are already a Scheme member, be subject to a PVG Scheme Record Update, before any formal offer of employment can be made by East Ayrshire Council.

Responsibilities
This post is a temporary part time post based at Kilmarnock Academy.
The normal work pattern for this post is 7 hours per week to be worked one day a week in agreement with the line manager.
The Full Time Equivalent salary for this post is £35,190 to £46,773 per annum.
The actual part time salary is £7,038 to £9,354 per annum.
This is a temporary post up until 30th June 2025.
