We are seeking a strong, passionate and organised Senior Community Development Assistant for Port Seton Centre. The position will support the Centre Head and the staff in working in partnership with a management committee, along with the users of the building which includes a library and resource centre. The role is integral in supporting a growing and diverse community. This is an excellent opportunity to support community members and groups to improve their health and wellbeing, reduce social isolation and support an extremely valuable community resource. The position seeks someone who is used to working within a team to support members of the public and has a flexibility around working hours, as shift patterns will include evening and weekend working
Job Details
To assist the Centre Head to ensure the safe and effective running of a busy community centre and to assist with the supervision of centre staff, administering bookings and staff rotas and organising the setting up of activities within the centre.

Job Requirements
Relevant Qualifications
SVQ2, NC, Higher or equivalent.
PVG Membership
