Serving over 158,000 citizens in the heart of Scotland – Falkirk Council has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic Team Leader to join the Infrastructure, Collaboration and Technology (ICT) unit.

Responsible for a team of 18 ICT professionals you will lead transformation and innovation in the following areas:

  • Cybersecurity and compliance, including managing our Cyber Security Operations Centre
  • Enterprise Network – supporting our M365 environment and Zero Trust network architecture.
  • ICT infrastructure including our Nutanix Hybrid Multi-Cloud environment and our Data Centre
  • Voice and Data communications across the Council and with our partners

About you

We are looking for a dynamic and pragmatic individual with demonstrable experience in technology, Cyber Security and Risk.

You’re the sort of person who has a passion for driving security into all aspects of what we do in an ever-changing landscape of cyber risk. You will do this whilst enabling delivery of Council Services and maintaining the security of Council systems and information.

Your ability to manage a team of IT professionals, manage stakeholders and deliver operational projects efficiently will be a key part of your success.
