To work in our Sports Development team, we are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals, who will deliver fun, safe and engaging gymnastics sessions, to the young people involved in our Gymnastics Development program.

As a Head Coach, your role is all about leading the delivery of a creative, fun and structured coaching session.  We are looking for great people, who naturally have these qualities. Your role will also involve inspiring active life’s and motivating young people to develop their sporting skills, support and mentor our assistant and volunteers’ coaches and promote the benefits of an active healthy lifestyle through sport.

Our programme operates 7 days per week across our preschool, recreational and development  gymnastics programme. Sessions will be delivered at various gymnastics venues throughout Falkirk, including our state-of-the-art gymnastics training venue at Carron Gymnastics Centre. There are also other opportunities to coach within our primary and secondary school programme, school holiday coaching camps and at our gymnastics events.

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of a UKCC level 2 qualification in Gymnastics to support the continual growth and development of our gymnastics programme at Falkirk Council.

You will work on an as and when required basis.

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
