Job Description
Social Work Adult Services in Falkirk is currently undergoing a wide-scale service transformation and is seeking to recruit a number of social care officers to the assessment and care planning teams based across the service.
You will contribute to our vision of enabling adults to live full and positive lives within supportive and inclusive communities working with Occupational Therapist and Social Work colleagues. You will undertake outcomes focussed assessments and reviews in collaboration with service users and carers including risk assessment. You will participate in duty systems and rotas relevant to your team and the service. Along with colleagues, you will be expected to contribute to the development of innovative ways of working which will enable Falkirk citizens to have access to information, support and services within their communities.
You must have the ability to be mobile across the Falkirk Council area.
HNC /SVQ3 in social care or equivalent would be preferred.
A number of posts are available, both full and part time, permanent and temporary.
If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
