Fife Council is Scotland’s third largest local and planning authority. This post will involve: preparing Fife’s new Local Development Plan Fife’s Place Plan and supporting activity such as facilitating events, developing planning policy and guidance, assessing content for thew new plan, and delivering project work.

The Person
You must be educated to SCQF level 9, which includes a Degree or equivalent in Town and Country Planning.
Full membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI).
You should have a good understanding of the statutory planning process with an emphasis on development planning.
Your communication skills must include an ability to interact with business as well as technical teams and you will be required to be capable of listening to what service users want, and confident in advising.
