Job Description
Based within Neighbourhood and Regeneration Services the Project Officer will support in the strategic planning of Sauchiehall Street as a Culture and Heritage District .
Principal responsibilities will be focused on the Built Heritage and Place, and in developing an action programme which will identify a range of priority investments propositions.
The role is a fixed term for a period of 12 months, it is supported by funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund and will work closely with an equivalent Project Development Manager in Glasgow Life.
This period is a ‘Development Phase’ of activities, which is expected to complete in late 2025 and an output of this role at the culmination of this phase will be a full application to the National Lottery Heritage Fund’s Heritage Places initiative for a potential ten-year delivery programme.
This post is temporary for a period up to 12 months.
