Job Description
Can you make a difference to the future lives of Glasgow's children? Glasgow City Council is seeking to recruit highly motivated and dynamic staff, who have a passion for working with children and young people with additional support. You must be committed, passionate and a well-qualified staff member. Ideally you are digitally mined and with ASN background. We will support you to inspire the learning of our children and young people within the additional support for learning sector. Teaching duties - supporting the delivery of Curriculum for Excellence across all ages and stages within the additional support for learning school. In addition to the range of teaching and other duties outlined in the job specification, we are looking for individuals who enjoy working collegiately with colleagues and who have with a firm commitment to improving the outcomes for Glasgow's young people with additional support/complex learning needs.
We are seeking to recruit to the following positions: Aultmore Park LCR - 35 Hours – Fixed Term , Caledonia LCR – 35 Hours – Permanent , Barmulloch ALN – 35 Hours – Permanent, St Philomena's ENP – 35 - Permanent & Fixed Term, Sandaig ENP 14hrs Permanent, St Roch's HIU 35hrs Permanent & Fixed Term.
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment along with GTCS Registration. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.
