Job Purpose: To assist the Catering Operational Manager in the effective and efficient operational management of the day-to-day delivery of the Highland Council Catering Service which encompasses Education, Civic and Commercial outlets.   

To provide effective and efficient management supervision of the day to day delivery and growth of high quality catering services.

Requirements

Relevant professional qualification e.g., HNC/HND/SVQ or NVQ or appropriate proven working experience of a minimum of 3 years. 

Food Safety qualification

Extensive management experience specific to the catering industry within the public or private sector. 

Relevant Health and Safety and Food Safety knowledge. 

Knowledge and understanding of Schools (Health Promotion & Nutrition) (Scotland) Act and related responsibilities.
