Job Purpose: To assist the Service Lead - Corporate Property throughout the complete range of Property Management duties with particular emphasis on Maintenance Service planning and management, Capital Projects, Property landlord responsibilities, statutory requirements, service contracts and health and safety matters.
To be responsible for the management and supervision of a team of Maintenance Officers to provide a high quality and customer focused strategic property maintenance and inspection service in respect of Public Buildings and Projects within a defined operational area.
To act as Project Sponsor and be responsible for the management, development and implementation of strategic maintenance projects assigned by the Service Lead - Corporate Property.
To assist in the management of the Council’s General Fund property estate and to assist in developing and contribute to strategic policies and procedures.

Requirements
Educated to degree level or equivalent, such as:
- A relevant and appropriate professional qualification, or
- Equivalent experience in this, or a related field, or
