Job Description

  • To coordinate information and monitor trends for service performance; identify areas of service for review and improvement to facilitate the continuous improvement of Health and Social Care Moray services; and to support quality improvement approaches, developing performance outcomes and measures, and service planning. development arrangements.
  • To support the strategic development of Health and Social Care Moray within the context of integrated service delivery.
  • To deliver performance information and interpretation on organisational performance at various levels throughout the organisation including the delivery of performance information to the Moray Integration Joint Board

 

Responsibilities

  • To support and influence the operational effectiveness of performance and quality management arrangements leading to improvements in the quality and outcomes for Health and Social Care Moray.
  • To support and influence improvements in performance for the operational effectiveness for Health and Social Care Moray development and inspection arrangements.
  • To support the strategic planning of Health and Social Care Moray in the context of integrated service delivery

 

The Individual

  • Significant demonstrable experience in a senior information management role.

  • Experience in the provision, development and delivery of performance reports.

  • Experience of working in a performance and project discipline
  • Experience in a multi-agency environment
  • Experience in supporting an organisations strategic planning function
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience along with additional specialist training and experience.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Commitment to quality and understanding of performance management issues
  • Effective organisational and time management skills
  • Effective written and oral communication skills and the ability to present information at all levels within the organisation
  • Self- confident and self- motivated
  • Data preparation for business intelligence; business objects; expert in standard IT packages (specifically Excel functionality)
  • Large dataset information extraction, collation & cleansing; application of relevant statistical approaches; identification of data patterns; predictive modelling; analysis & interpretation skills to produce conclusions and recommendations
  • Sharing & teaching skills in information management & systems development; written & oral communication skills to effectively present complex and sensitive data.
