Job Summary

We are looking for caring, compassionate, creative and proactive people to join our team as a Development Worker. This is a post with the Learning Disability Service Day Opportunities Team, based at Trindlemoss in Irvine. As a Development Worker you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with the people we support to enable them to achieve their personal outcomes. You will build a positive working relationship with the people we support and their families and carers and will work as part of a team to ensure the best possible experience for each individual. No two days will be the same, we will tailor our approach to the individuals we support. This could mean facilitating a group activity or providing one to one assistance. It could mean working in our base at Trindlemoss or working alongside our partners in other areas of North Ayrshire. We would be keen to hear from anyone who has experience in transitions for young adults and supporting individuals to make opportunities for themselves as well as people who share our values and believe in the strengths and talents of individuals.
