Child Protection Planning Meeting (CPPM) Coordinator - PKC12314
£41,864 - £45,078 (28.8 Hours per week)
Almondbank House, Perth
You will lead the delivery of a consistent approach to child protection planning though facilitation and chairing of all initial and review child protection planning meetings across Children and Families social work.
You will improve the quality of family engagement within child protection processes via engagement pre child protection planning meetings and post child protection registration.
You will quality assure the child protection assessments to feed into the improvement agenda working towards service improvement in relation to all child protection assessment reports and child’s plans.
You will chair all Kinship panels to consider recommendations for approved kinship carers in Perth and Kinross.
Skills & Experience Required
You must be a qualified social worker and registered with the SSSC.
You must have a valid UK driving licence as this post requires you to travel to a variety of locations across Perth and Kinross.
We are looking for someone with significant experience in child protection who is used to chairing and managing complex meetings.
The successful applicant should also have significant experience with engaging with families.
