Waste Disposal Recycling Attendant - PKC12520
£23,157 - £24,197 (35 Hours per week)
Friarton Depot, Perth
The contracted shift pattern for this post will be Thursday to Monday, 8:45am to 4:15pm.
In this role you will undertake day to day operation of a busy Recycling Centre.
Your duties will include:
- To ensure that work is undertaken, carried out and completed according to instructions received.
- To ensure waste is disposed of correctly and proper procedures followed.
- To have good customer relations and communications with the public on a daily basis.
- Responsibility of Health & Safety on site for members of the public and PKC Staff.
- The checking and control of the permit system for Traders and members of the public.

Skills & Experience Required
You must be capable of carrying out the physical demands of the post and be able to communicate effectively with team members and the public.
You will bring a positive energy; have the ability to work well as part of a team.
You will be aware of Health & Safety legislation, have effective visual skills with the ability to ensure the safety of other road users and pedestrians, and you will have the ability to carry out inspections, ensuring that your site is safe, and meets all legal requirements.
