Working in our Underwood Road Depot in Paisley, you will assist in the effective issuing, control and monitoring of materials and equipment in use by Roads and Street lighting operations.

 

You will have experience in a stores operations with the ability to demonstrate knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, policy and procedures.

 

 

It is essential you are a team player with self-motivation skills, and you must be able and willing to commit to a standby/call out rota.

 

 

Working knowledge of using Computer systems in an operational stores environment, effective organisational, time management, communication and interpersonal skills are also essential.

 

 

You must have problem-solving skills to deal with parts inventory issues and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

 

A driving licence is essential. A Class 1 licence and forklift licence is desirable.
