Role Purpose

We are looking for a confident and motivated individual to join our existing team of Coordinators within the Facilities Service.

The successful candidate will line manage a number of facilities staff within a specific geographical area. They must be able to demonstrate the ability to work under pressure, adapt to changes to the work environment and show they can lead a team.

Elements of the role will require work to be completed at the Council HQ but the majority of time will be spent within the designated area visiting sites, speaking with staff, carrying out site audits and dealing with client feedback. Daily hours are flexible to meet the needs of the service. A Vehicle is also supplied as part of this role.

Essential

Professional qualifications and standard of education relevant to the demands of managing a multi site front line soft facilities management operation.
City and Guild /SVQ Level 3/4 or HNC /SVQ Level 3/4 in Facilities Management (Soft service bias)
Managed or currently manage a Soft FM service for 3 years or more



A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post. * If you have a disability which precludes you from holding a drivers licence, Scottish Borders Council will take into account its responsibility to make reasonable adjustments to allow for your disability.
