Role Purpose

Are you ready to kickstart your career in Business and Administration? This may be the role for you! Regulatory services, Business support team support Planning, Building Standards, Environmental Health, Trading standards and Animal Health, Heritage, and Design. Day to Day tasks include use of bespoke software for producing various legal documents in relation to the building standards process, creating cases for environmental health and trading standards, accessing specific websites, involvement in improvement projects (digital mailroom and planning/customer services). Other tasks will include monitoring mailboxes, general administration tasks, participating in team meetings and answering telephone calls confidently. During this apprenticeship you will gain a SVQ 6 Business and Administration Qualification.

A good level of relevant education In accordance with Scottish Borders Councils priorities, you will need to be aged 16-24 (at the point of starting the Apprenticeship) to qualify for this position.
