An exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of Finance Manager (Benefits and Revenue) to work in the Council’s Finance Transactions Service. 

The postholder would lead a team of officers responsible for the financial management of Council’s revenues collection and benefits administration and customer services.

As well as ensuring the strategic planning and policy development of all benefits and revenues policies, you will ensure achievement of the Council’s revenue collection performance targets, including council tax, non-domestic rates, housing benefit overpayments and sundry debt.

The post holder will also be responsible for benefits and revenues systems management and continued development.

This is a key post within the Council and one that would suit someone with experience in benefits and revenues or financial management.

Applicants should have experience in local government at a management level.
