The successful applicant will have experience in caring for older people, preferably within a day service, community-based outreach or residential setting and be familiar with all aspects of personal care.
You will require to be flexible, working within both building based and outreach services as required and be willing to undertake delegated tasks as part of a care staff team. You must also be committed to promoting service users’ independence, rights, choices and individuality.

Ideally the successful candidate will hold an SVQ in Social Care Level 2 or 3 or an HNC in Social Care or be willing to work towards gaining these qualifications.
