Common Thread is a Scottish residential childcare provider, with the mission to lead in the creation and provision of innovative healing environments for children and young people who have been hurt by trauma, abuse, and neglect. Young people are our primary focus, and this belief is shared by all staff members, carers, and support workers.
Common Thread Schools provide specialist therapeutic education to some of society’s most vulnerable and challenging children and young people. Our education staff need to work creatively, in a caring and nurturing way that is holistic and tailored to the educational needs and learning style of the individual. We promote an environment where all moments of positive interaction, healing, growth learning and development are captured, tracked, and promoted within an educational context.
We are looking for an exceptional Teacher to work in our Dumfries school.
