Part Time Variable Lecturer – Animals, Land and Environment (Dog Grooming)
Rate of Pay: £22.07 - £26.57 per hour per hour plus preparation and marking allowance and holiday pay - (dependent on experience)
Campus: Arbroath
We would like to add to the pool of part-time lecturing staff in the curriculum area of Animal Care. We have a vacancy for a Dog Groomer Lecturer to be filled from January 2025, which is for 2 hours per week on Wednesday Evenings. This is for our Dog Grooming evening class.
The role involves delivering high quality teaching and learning on our introductory courses on how to be an effective dog groomer and all aspect of care and ensuring the welfare of the dog is paramount.
The ideal candidate will have a Dog Grooming qualification industry experience and have a flexible and practical approach to teaching delivery in a variety of settings. Classes will normally be held on the Arbroath campus.
If successful Dundee and Angus College will help you to gain registration with the General Teaching Council Scotland (GTCS). The College will work with you and support you to achieve the qualifications and professional learning required for registration, you must be willing to undertake any training and development necessary to gain registration.
