Salary: Grade 4 Points 18 to 22
£33,783 to £36,701 per annum
(salary subject to pending job evaluation)
This includes a £2,500 Market Allowance, which is in place until the outcome of Job Evaluation is confirmed and then will be reviewed.
Would you like to be part of a highly motivated team of Work-Based Assessors working with organisations looking to upskill and reskill their workforce by undertaking Modern Apprenticeships and SVQs within the Business sector?
Our vocational business team are looking to recruit a driven and dedicated individual, to work within the Business, Creative & Enterprise faculty whom deliver a vast range of SVQs subjects including; Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Customer Service, Learning and Development, Digital Marketing and Digital Applications.
Do you have experience working within the business sector relating to any of the above SVQ subjects and/or have delivered business SVQs? Are you passionate about developing the current and future workforce? If so, then this excellent opportunity is for you!
West Lothian College is looking to appoint a Work Based Assessor for Business related SVQs. You will be educated to SCQF Level 9, and be assessor qualified or prepared to complete an assessor award within six months of starting. You will have a good understanding and previous experience of the business sector and possess good organisational skills to prioritise effectively. You will also have the ability to communicate at all levels in order to help others achieve.

Those shortlisted will be required to deliver a 10 minute presentation and undertake a competency based interview.
