To ensure the effective delivery and ongoing continuous improvement of the Equality and Human Rights Impact Assessment (EqHRIA) document set, training, communication, and organisational learning as directed by the Strategic Oversight Group.
To support and guide the implementation of decisions made at the EqHRIA Strategic and Improvement Group meetings.
To scrutinise EqHRIA delivery through proactive engagement with divisions and departments to ensure compliance with the relevant legislative requirements.
This role will contribute to improvements in the EqHRIA process and quality for Police Scotland including relevant governance and scrutiny.
This role will support Police Scotland’s commitment to building a fair and equal service both internally and externally for the services we provide to communities.
RESIDENCY AND ELIGIBILITY TO WORK IN THE UK
Applicants must be a British citizen, a member of the EU or other states in the EEA, a Commonwealth citizen or a foreign national free of restrictions. You should also have been resident in the UK for a minimum of 3 years immediately prior to application.
