The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) are seeking a temporary People Advisers within our Talent Acquisition team. 

As a People Adviser you will support our recruitment and selection processes, through participation in selection interviews, development of candidate information sessions and designing and delivering recruitment and selection training to managers across SFRS. Engaging with internal stakeholders, our communication team and candidates will be essential, alongside developing approaches to improve diversity through our recruitment practices.  

You will be required to work routinely from a number of different locations across Scotland, to conduct selection interviews and deliver training, therefore the ability to travel on a frequent basis is essential. 

Applicants must have an Associate Diploma in People Management or equivalent qualification, be an Associate member of the CIPD.  Excellent interviewing skills and experience of designing and delivering Recruitment and selection training is also essential.   

These posts temporary for an 11-month period full-time (35 hours per week) however, applications from individuals seeking to work on a flexible working basis will be considered. The People Directorate supports agile working so location is flexible, although the ability to travel across SFRS and be onsite is required.
