The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service would like to invite applications for the post of Resource Centre Operative, based in Cambuslang Asset Resource Centre on a permanent basis. This is a full-time opportunity, working 35 hours per week.
This is a full time post however applications from individuals seeking to work on a part time, job share or flexible working basis would be considered.
The successful candidate will be required to assist in the day to day running of the stores and logistics services within the Asset Management Department.
Previous experience of working in a busy stores environment is essential as is good numeracy skills, English and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel packages.
Applicants are required to have the ability to follow instruction and work unsupervised. They must also have excellent planning and organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.

Salary on appointment will normally be at the lower salary point, with progression subject to regular review - in line with the SFRS performance appraisal arrangements. A higher salary placing will be considered in exceptional circumstances subject to experience demonstrated.
