Caithness KLICS was established in 2013 and we currently support over 100 young carers between the ages of 5 and 18 years old, continuing to grow each year. A young carer is a young person who cares, unpaid, for a person who has any type of physical or mental illness/disability, or misuses substances such as alcohol or drugs. Their lives can be very different from other young children, potentially carrying additional responsibilities and stresses.

KLICS provides a warm, safe, and welcoming place for the young carers, their families, and the community.
