COVEY Befriending

Our vision is that children, young people and their families receive consistent, reliable, and individual support to be able to deal positively with their life challenges. We aim to support those we work with on their life journey, bringing colour to their lives, while enabling them through strong befriending relationships, to become more resilient and self-aware; better equipped to reach their full potential.
 
We are a values based organisation. Values represent 'the way we do things around here'. They embody our work and behaviour and form the basis of everything we do. Our values inform our decisions and choices, and are what you can expect from us.
 
We offer one-to-one and group befriending and mentoring throughout South Lanarkshire and in areas of North Lanarkshire.  At the heart of what we do are committed and passionate volunteers choosing to help children, young people and families.
 
For everyone involved we seek five key outcomes that will positively affect their lives: Improved Self-Confidence, Increased Self-Esteem, Reduced Isolation, Improved Well-being, Increased Skills & Interests.
