Ethical Standards Commissioner

The Commissioner and their team work in two areas:

· Complaints handling - we investigate complaints about the conduct of MSPs, local authority councillors and board members of public bodies

· Public appointments - we regulate how people are appointed to the boards of specified public bodies in Scotland
