Launch It Trust Paisley

At Launch It, we are passionate about our mission of empowering the next generation of business leaders. We exist to support young people between 18 and 30, who are facing barriers, to turn their business idea into a reality. To give them the best possible start, we offer affordable workspaces, the knowledge and skills they need to run a business, and guidance from people who have been there. 

We run an enterprise centre called Start Up Street in Paisley, Renfrewshire. This is going from strength to strength and responding to local needs and challenges and we now need to recruit a new enterprise manager to run the site.Their role is to be on hand to encourage and offer pastoral support when needed and are supported by local mentors who work one to one with our young entrepreneurs.

We focus our efforts on supporting young people who live in disadvantaged areas and are unemployed, under-employed, educational under achievers, ex-offenders, care leavers, from ethnic minority backgrounds, carers and/or single parents.

Throughout our intensive 2-year incubation programme, aspiring young entrepreneurs have the opportunity to explore potential business opportunities, develop their ideas and start their own businesses. We walk them through the process of starting up and provide them with the support they need for their business to successfully launch and flourish.
