Maybole Regeneration

The Maybole Regeneration (MR) Project is a partnership initiative spanning the community, public and private sectors. It is led jointly by Maybole Community Council and South Ayrshire Council.

The Talk Maybole Charrette in 2015 had a brief to: ‘Make the most of existing buildings and spaces’ in the town. One of the recommendations from the final Charrette report was to pursue an application for Townscape Heritage and CARS funding. This was duly done and in early 2016, the partnership was awarded funding to fully develop plans to transform Maybole’s High Street.
