Scotland Excel

Scotland Excel is a multi-award winning, non-profit making organisation, delivering innovative procurement solutions for the public sector. Established in 2008, we have helped to raise the profile of procurement by championing its potential to shape markets, support policy priorities and, ultimately, ensure the sustainable delivery of services that every community needs. 

In 2018, we published our new strategic plan, detailing our vision for the next five years. Our plan sets out an ambitious agenda to further grow our organisation, supporting local authorities and other public sector organisations as they face increasing financial pressures and rising demand for services.

Our contract portfolio worth around £2bn covers a wide range of areas including social care, construction, roads, transport, environment, corporate, education and ICT. As a Centre of Procurement Expertise, Scotland Excel also delivers learning and development, change management and consultancy services.
