Scottish Arbitration Centre
The Scottish Arbitration Centre, established in 2011, promotes the use of arbitration within Scotland and the designation of Scotland as an arbitral seat to the rest of the world. A key to the proliferation of Scottish arbitration is the Arbitration (Scotland) Act 2010, and the Centre promotes this piece of legislation as one of the elements that make Scotland an attractive place to resolve disputes using arbitration. The Centre is a non-profit company limited by guarantee. Though a private company, we are supported in part by the Scottish Government.
